APRIL 2012

Our Spring Tour, 10 concerts in Denmark and Sweden, is over.

Last concert was held in a tiny venue in Halmstad called OrientPizzan - and was indeed  a pizzeria! - located right between the city centre and the immigrant neighborhoood. The audience was a great mix of native Swedes and immigrants from Europe and Middle East. What a party!

The trio concert at VERDENSKLUBBEN originally announced to  March 3 will be moved to March 17, same time and place!

JANUARY 2012

This Christmas Mizgin played concerts in Kurdistan. One open air in Batman

WOMEX which was attended by approximately 10.000, an indoor show for about 1000 audiences

and she also shared the stage with the great Mehmet Atli in Diyarbakir's Rolls Performance Home, during his concert.

Mizgin appeared  with her trio at WOMEX this year, doing a showcase on GLOBAL Copenhagen.

This concert and and a following appearance on Danish Radio P1 has led to many positive reactions and engagements for this coming year.

Mizgin was shortlisted for the 2011 Danish Music Award. One of her songs, Daye, appears on WorldMusicDenmark's 2011 Export CD.

OCTOBER

Mizgin's new album was due 5th of November. It is a treasure of beautiful and strong songs, showing all sides of her great talent.  LATEST NEWS: Vedat YILDIRIM, the great musician and producer of Turkish top act KARDES TÜRKÜLLER, has contributed to the album with two beautiful songs. Dont miss the release party at GLOBAL 5th of November!

May 2011 Mizgin appeared with members of  the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra as a soloist at the Nordic Film Composer’s Award Night in Pressen, Copenhagen.
